You will create and develop a strong Purchasing Department acting as a real business partner. To be a strategic added value creator to build a global leading player.

As Purchasing Manager, you will define and implement the company’s purchasing policy, in liaison with general management. You will be responsible for purchasing equipment, goods and services (offices, facilities, professional services, IT, travel, events). You will also be responsible for suppliers management.

Missions:

  • Development & management of purchasing strategies
  • Writing purchasing procedures
  • Monitoring and reporting on key functional measures to reduce spend and improve efficiency
  • Developing negotiation strategies
  • Risk management
  • Creating and managing partnerships with reliable suppliers
  • Evaluation of suppliers performance and their financial sustainability
  • Preparation of draft of contracts in collaboration with the Legal Department
  • Implementation and negotiation of master service agreements
  • Management of cross-functional projects in cooperation with various departments
  • Internal reporting/presentations and participation in meetings up to EXCOM and CEO levels

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven professional experience as a purchasing manager or buyer
  • Knowledge of purchasing and supplier management
  • Fluent in French & English
  • Interest in market dynamics and business acumen
  • A flair for negotiation and networking
  • Ability to gather and analyse data and work with figures
  • Sound judgement and decision-making skills
  • Strong leadership

The successful candidate will be able to carry out strategic purchasing activities covering several categories of expenditure, seek out the best offers and find the most profitable suppliers.
