You will create and develop a strong Purchasing Department acting as a real business partner. To be a strategic added value creator to build a global leading player.

As Purchasing Manager, you will define and implement the company’s purchasing policy, in liaison with general management. You will be responsible for purchasing equipment, goods and services (offices, facilities, professional services, IT, travel, events). You will also be responsible for suppliers management.

Your mission is to be responsible for overall management of the clinical projects including liaising with the Sponsor; coordinating and leading partners; supervising members of the project team; and overseeing project implementation, financial and administrative oversight, reporting, and monitoring and evaluation of the project.

Missions:

  1. Drive account development, managing customer relationships and work with Business Development to strengthen relationships with existing clients and generate awareness on prospects.
  2. Regular travels, Regular face-to-face with clients, Attendance to Congresses.
  3. Provide executive project management for complex multi-country multi-service projects.
  4. Participate in Governance meetings, monthly project reviews and support Project Managers.
  5. Provide proactive guidance to customers around ways to optimize their objectives.
  6. 7.Guide and direct the Finance Department to build and create the required analytical tools.
  7. Liaise closely with internal Heads of Departments and European-level customer contacts on a day-to-day basis to ensure project is aligned to customer objectives.
  8. Support the PM line manager to ensure that staff has the proper materials, systems access and training to complete job responsibilities. Act as a coach and mentor for PMs.
  9. Manage the financial performance of multiple varied projects
  • Identify financial issues;
  • Support PMs on mitigation plans;
  • Provide regular feedback on the financial performance of the team and project

    10 .May undertake other tasks as they may be assigned from the supervisor that will concern 

  • May participate in the Project Managers’ interviewing process
  • May leads personnel through audit situations, including closing out audit findings and corrective action plans

 

Skills and Experience:

  • At least 10 years of experience in clinical research area and project management in CRO
  • Having Bachelor/ Master degree
  • Fluent in French & English
  • Strong leadership qualities,
  • Organization, presentation and influencing skills
  • Strong team player
  • High resilience with flexibility
  • Financial and analytical skills
