This role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic, ambitious team in Engineering. You will play a critical part in driving innovation and making an impact in the clinical research space, while enjoying a stimulating professional environment that encourages personal and intellectual growth.

Main Activities: 

  • Define product requirements and ensure alignment with project constraints (quality, cost, timeline).

  • Propose technical design concepts using 2D/3D modeling and tolerance chains.

  • Validate design feasibility through prototyping (3D printing, machining, injection molding, etc.).

  • Organize and conduct tests: define protocols, analyze data, and ensure traceability.

  • Prepare technical documentation, including critical attributes (from DFMEA), technical drawings, etc.

  • Assess industrial feasibility and support the transfer to industrialization teams by sharing technical data and analyzing pre-series parts.

  • Contribute to the intellectual property strategy by documenting innovative, unique, and potentially patentable concepts or data.

  • Provide technical expertise across the organization: document issues, suggest solutions, and support root cause analysis.

  • Monitor technological advancements to inform design strategies and innovation.

  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and design rules standardization within the team.

  • Experience: Proven ability to thrive in collaborative, fast-moving environments (avoid requiring minimum years—talent matters most to us!)
  • Skills: Hands-on experience with prototyping techniques, design validation, and technical documentation.
  • Education: Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Languages: Strong communication skills in English and French, Comfortable with frequent international collaboration (Germany, US, UK); occasional travel (approx. once per month).
