Main activities:

The HR Coordinator is responsible for facilitating all key HR functions and programs, in the Country. This includes issues raised by current and future employees and matters related to selection & recruitment, retention & employment, compensation and benefits, employee relations, performance appraisals etc. Coordinates and supports the implementation & development of HR policies/processes, initiatives and systems, as per department’s objectives, and is fully responsible for the effective implementation of relevant administrative tasks as per department’s & company’s qualitative & quantitative operating standards

Overall

  • Deeply acknowledges and strictly follows Excelya SOPs, policies and instructions and appropriate national and international legislation.
  • Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests, for the region.
  • Participates to ad-hoc HR projects, for the region.
  • Supports other assigned functions.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
  • Supports and actively participates in organizing all employee relations & communication activities, such as company’s events

Recruitment & On Boarding

  • Supports the recruitment process by identifying suitable candidates. More specifically, prepares job ads for new openings, screens CV’s, performs the interview process, informs successful and unsuccessful applicants respectively, performs reference checks etc
  • Perform orientations and update records of new staff, employment contracts, internal communication & notifications etc.

HR Administration, Reporting (& HRIS) – Region

  • Maintains up to date all Job Description in collaboration with the QA department
  • Maintains both hard and digital copies of employees’ records.
  • Maintains both hard and digital copies of annual leave records, and monitors the annual leave policies per location.
  • Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas.
  • Produces and submits reports on general HR activity.
  • Performs exit interview reports and updates relevant database

Performance Management

  • Facilitates & assisits with performance management procedures.

Training & Development

  • Proposes training programs to the managers of all departments
  • Coordinates training sessions and seminars.
  • Receives feedback and keeps records on training effectiveness

Compensation & Benefits

  • Assists with payroll, where required
  • Administrative support for the benefits programs, ie private health insurance, ticket restaurants etc, where applicable.

Working Location

  • Hybrid in Mannheim or Freiburg

Your profile:  

  • Bachelors degree
  • Relative experience of at least 3 years as HR Generalist / Coordinator
  • Conceptual thinking, organizational and time management skills, excellent administrative and IT/HRIS skills, ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced international environment
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills, deep understanding of employee relationships, staffing management and payroll, conflict management
