The role:

Coordinate all site-related contracting and budget negotiations according to the current ICH-Good Clinical Practice guidelines, the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and the applicable laws and regulations. Support contracting with local vendors and ensure payments in accordance with contracts

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  1. Acknowledge and strictly comply with Excelya and sponsors SOPs, guidelines and appropriate local and international legislation. Keep himself/herself continuously informed on any amendments or updates of the above-mentioned guidelines, applicable laws and procedures
  2. Negotiate contract, study budget and milestones with sites within defined parameters for clinical trials and observational studies
  3. Prepare the contract with sponsors for clinical research
  4. Support resolution of contract issues
  5. Support contracting with local vendors
  6. Maintain contract tracking in appropriate systems
  7. Store and archive contracts and budgets in the appropriate systems
  8. Identify opportunities and best practices with local and regional partners that will contribute to overall operational effectiveness
  9. Work with Study Manager on the review of the budget template for country feedback on Fair Market Value and the schedule A template
  10. Negotiate site budgets from the base budget and payment milestones using appropriate guidelines and complete the final template for addition to the contract, showing the final agreed budget per site
  11. Assume responsibility for the Clinical Trials Insurance process
  12. Escalate contract and budget issues to other departments, as appropriate
  13. Participate in appropriate meetings, as required to resolve contract issues
  14. Ensure payments are made in accordance with contracts and perform ongoing and / or end of study budget reconciliation with the Study Manager, as needed
  15. Maintain payment data tracking in appropriate systems
  16. Process and track CDAs
  17. Process and track insurance certificates
  18. Assist to any other project requested by the superior

Minimum Requirements :

  • University degree in Finance or in Life Science (post graduate studies in a relative field are considered as a plus)
  • Relative experience up to 1 year in finance or in clinical research area and/or in start-up activities are considered as a plus
  • Communication & organizational skills, time management, attention to detail, negotiation skills, results orientation, data analysis, presentation skills and fluency in English
