The role:

Excelya is looking to collaborate with a Neurologist doctor role, located in Europe.

The position is responsible for supervising the Phase about the Parkinson disease curing and build the strategy of the Phase 1b.

Job General Responsibilities/Tasks:

  • Be the leader for the clinical sub-team: lead the clinical and medical strategy of the project via the planning and deployment of the clinical development plan, particularly the First in human follow-up and analysis and the phase 1b study conception and preparation.
  • Able to provide medical/clinical expertise in neurology to the core team, and other departments in order to support the development.
  • Assist the Asset Leader in drawing up the project strategy
  • Interface with health authorities and handle questions from Agencies
  • Set-up and manage consultants according to the project needs
  • Support the patient engagement strategy of the project

Required qualifications and experience:

  • Medical Doctor specialized in neurology
  • Working experience in clinical drug development
  • Previous working experience in pharmaceutical industry will be considered as asset
  • Fluency in English
  • Ability to work autonomously, as part of a team and in project mode, with cross functional teams
  • Good communication skills and proven ability to interact with external experts
  • Reactivity, dynamism and precision
  • Enthusiasm, strong motivation and dedication
  • Extensive comprehension of pharmaceutical industry challenges
