The Role:

Head of Talent & Sales’s main purpose will be to establish Excelya as a key provider of clinical talent to pharmaceutical companies in Germany.

Head of Talent & Sales will Build and grow a German team to achieve challenging revenue and growth targets and play a crucial role in the success of a new subsidiaries.

Responsibilities:

  • Maximize the potential of your future business unit by designing your business plan with mid-size accounts and major account of the German industrial pharmaceutical market (CRAs, Project Leaders, and Data Managers to start)
  • Create new business opportunities by prospecting brand-new customers
  • Gather new business leads with existing customers
  • Close deals to support your clients with consulting
  • Manage the delivery of your offers with the support of the technical managers
  • Work with functional and Group managers to minimize staff turnover
  • Manage the German office efficiently, and use the office as a focus for reinforcing our culture and values
  • Budget and report KPIs management of the German office
  • Support the Full-service sales and Project Management function, and work with this team to collaborate to close client contracts

Skills and Experience:

  • Individual with right to work in Germany with perfect English and previous work experience based in the in Germany
  • Broad based knowledge of the Pharmaceutical clients within a competitive talent sourcing environment, at least 8 years of experience
  • Proven track record of sales success in small to mid-sized organizations
  • Strong people manager, able to recruit, motivate, manage performance, and retain a high performing team
  • Collaborative individual who can work with HQ and functional groups to ensure Group policies are respected
  • Ability to speak basic French preferred
  • Capability to travel extensively to meet customers and to Paris for management meetings essential
