Finance Officer – The Netherlands

The Role :

Excelya Group has embarked on an ambitious growth strategy which has led to a significant ongoing transformation of the business.

As such, the Group has already developed strong finance processes and tends to develop them any further.

To support the development of the company, we are currently hiring a finance officer (assistant controller) reporting to the Benelux Finance Manager.

This position is based in the Netherlands.

Finance plays a key role in correct bookkeeping and compliance but also on supporting decision-making at a senior level, highlighting key financial issues and risks to be considered, and overall ensure business leaders developing their track to growth and profitability.

You shall embrace Excelya Values (Audacity/ Care & Energy) and make them alive in the daily life of the Finance community.

Responsibilities :

• Review and control the P&L of the Netherlands, Belgium and UK and Germany
• Accounting and bookkeeping, in cooperation with local accounting firms
• run future financial projections: budgeting and forecasting of the Business lines
• Liaise with your colleague in Germany
• Reporting to Operations and General Managers
• Ad-hoc report financial support for the strategic plan
• Enhancement of reporting

Missions :

Operational Finance and Accounting

• Reviewing of the work produced under the accounting tasks
• Statutory reporting
• Control quality of accounting data on a monthly close schedule
• Invoicing
• Accounts Payable
• Cash management
• Other administrative processing
• General Ledger and trials balance
• Inter-company transactions

Business Partnering

• Drafting management reports (for the Resourcing business line mainly)
• Support business in their Finance related needs, and be an advisor
• Track and analyze business activity
• Control and challenge data quality in the ERP

Financial & Project Controlling

• Help manage the forecast/reforecast/outlook/landing process
• Work closely with FP&A Central

Projects

• Participate in the ongoing implementation of a financial tooling
• Lead/participate on ad hoc analysis and projects
